Who are we...? Nissia Holidays Ltd. was formed in October 2006 by Lynne Evans and Meni Hadzigeorgiou to offer a new approach to holidays on the idyllic and unspoilt small Greek island of Halki, a short boat trip from Rhodes in the Southern Aegean Dodecanese. Lynne & Meni have over twenty five years combined experience of Halki and the surrounding islands and in recent years had been the representatives of Laskarina Holidays in the region. Following Laskarina’s decision to withdraw from the market at the end of the 2006 season, Nissia Holidays was created to respond to the demand from regular & newly-enchanted visitors to the island for the unique holidays on offer on Halki to be available for the 2007 season and beyond. 	Meni has been living & working on near-by Rhodes for over a quarter of a century, all of that time in the holiday & leisure industry, and during that time she has built up valuable relationships with all of the companies & individuals needed to ensure that Nissia Holidays can rely on unparalleled local support to deliver the most stress & problem free holidays on Halki. Whether that’s dealing with airport officials, transfer companies, boat captains or just about anyone else involved in making sure you’re holiday has all it needs and more then Meni always knows the right person to ask to make things happen. As a Greek-Australian she is also fiercely proud of her Hellenic roots so above all else she is determined that every visitor to Halki is able to enjoy the unspoilt and picturesque island to its full potential and then spread the word when the holiday is over for another year.
	Lynne, along with her husband Peter, spent over twenty years travelling all around Greece and her islands increasingly seeking out the more authentic and traditional experiences on offer on the more remote of the island chains. Having both built up demanding careers back in the UK from their home in Leicestershire they decided back in 1999 to opt for a change of pace and began looking for a new home in Greece. They fell in love with Halki, as many do, after a visit for a short holiday and soon after became permanent residents when buying and renovating a semi-derelict house over-looking the main harbour. Lynne began work immediately as one of two representatives of Laskarina Holidays on the island and was joined in her role by Peter for the 2006 season. There is now no resident or visitor to the island that does not know Lynne & Peter and the relationships built up with the local taverna & accommodation owners, as well as all of the public officials, mean that they can guarantee the most complete and comprehensive service to all visitors to what they now consider to be their home.

Nissia Customer Care Although at Nissia Holidays we offer an unpackaged service to allow our clients to benefit from the freedom to decide their own travel arrangements we understand that you will still expect the highest levels of service during your stay with us. We are dedicated to ensuring that all of your needs are catered for from the moment you book your accommodation with us, right through the duration of your stay and during your return home. UK Based Company Nissia Holidays is based in the UK and we do not use call centres, so when you contact us you will speak directly with people who can answer your queries straight away. The person you talk to will have direct and detailed knowledge of the island, the accommodation and every aspect of the Halki experience. Priority Booking System Unlike any other company offering holidays or accommodation on Halki, Nissia Holidays operate a priority booking system for existing clients. This means that if you wish to rebook your accommodation for the following year after your stay then with a simple pre-booking request completed on the island or soon after your return home we can guarantee that the accommodation will be reserved for you. Rhodes Office Nissia Holidays has an office on Rhodes will full time staff who have over 25 years experience dealing with Rhodes Airport and the transfers to and from Halki. This means that any queries that arise on your arrival at the airport are dealt with swiftly to ensure that your experience of the airport & transfer runs as smooth as possible. Meet & Greet You will be met at Rhodes Airport by English speaking staff who will remain with your for the duration of your transfer to the island. They will be on hand to deal with any special requests leaving you free to relax into your holiday from the moment you land. Our airport teams continually monitor expected times of arrival so if your independently booked flight is subject to a delay then you can be sure that we will still be there waiting for you when you arrive. They will also make the return transfer with you at the end of your stay so your departure will run as smoothly as your arrival. Luggage Delivery / Collection Service Our staff will meet you as you disembark from the ferry on Halki harbour and your luggage will be collected and delivered to your accommodation. At the start of your return journey our staff will collect your luggage and deliver it to the harbour side ready to be loaded onto the ferry. In-Journey Contact Our clients will be given contact numbers for our staff should you need them during your journey so if any issues arise whilst you are in transit to Rhodes you can speak directly to our team who will do all they can to help. Overnight Accommodation Assistance Should you choose to arrive on Rhodes on a Wednesday evening and have decided to transfer to Halki on Thursday then our UK office will happy to book on your behalf overnight accommodation on Rhodes for the Wednesday night and arrange taxi transfers to and from the accommodation. Welcome Packs & Personal service On arrival at your accommodation you will find the Nissia Holidays welcome pack furnished with a few essentials for your first day & night on Halki. So instead of rushing off to the shop for those all important tea bags, milk, water, wine & biscuits you are free to begin enjoying the Halki experience straight away. Throughout your stay with us you will find Lynne & Peter on the island ready to offer you all the assistance & advice you may need. Medical Emergency Assistance We of course hope that you will not need to call on this facility but should you need medical assistance during your stay then Lynne & Peter are always available to help you get the assistance you need from the medical services on the island as quickly as possible and our Rhodes office will be available should you need treatment from the medical facilities there. Accommodation Safety Checks As well as carrying out our own quality checks on all of the accommodation prior to your arrival we insist that all of the properties we offer are maintained to the highest standards. Halki Library From the Nissia office on Halki we operate a library service with a great selection of the latest must-read beach books. So if you’ve forgotten to pack your books or have ploughed through them quicker than expected you will be able to find another good page-tuned to get stuck into on the beach or balcony!
