A classic Halkiot town house,
Ilias has been extensively
renovated, including immaculate new kitchens for the 2007 season, and is
situated in a quiet position overlooking the town and harbour below. The property
has been split into 2 spacious apartments and a comfortable studio, all of
which have been finished to a very high standard. The two apartments occupy the
top floor of the building and can sleep up to four people each. Entering
through the well maintained garden the apartments comprise a large open plan
area including a sitting / sleeping area, the new kitchens to the rear and a
bathroom complete with shower attachment. Suspended above this area is a
mezzanine platform forming the main bedroom, complete with double bed. Large
French doors lead from the main area onto a good-sized balcony which offers
fantastic views out across the town and beyond across the harbour. The studio spread across the
ground floor is again made up of a large open plan area into which are fitted
twin beds, the new kitchen and bathroom fitted to a high standard and
complete again with shower attachment. The studio benefits from a large and
sunny terrace which spreads across the whole of the front of the property and
is adorned with a good range of modern furniture and an umbrella. Both the apartments &
studios benefit from air conditioning which can be paid for on the island. The Ilias properties are a
popular choice with those visitors looking for that extra peace &
tranquillity and with the addition of extra sunbathing within the garden to
the rear, and a good deal of cooling shade too, you may find that even the
short walk down the hill to the village seems like too much after a relaxing
afternoon with the holiday paperback! |
